About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's DevOps practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline our development and operations processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and reliability throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
Role Objectives
- Play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our DevOps practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline the development and operations processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and reliability throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
- Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Maintain and enhance existing IaC to ensure scalability and performance.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Implement best practices for building, packaging, and deploying applications across different environments.
- Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address issues.
- Collaborate with the operations team to establish incident response procedures.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline repetitive tasks.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure documentation is updated, accessible, and serves as a valuable resource for the team.

About you
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong experience deploying and managing resources in AWS
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, CircleCI, and Jenkins
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Datadog
- Strong expertise in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS
- Solid understanding of networking and security principles
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across multiple teams
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency with AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf) to enhance development velocity
- AWS Professional certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
- AWS Specialty certifications (Security, Advanced Networking)
- Active participation in open source or personal projects
